BlackRock´s CEO Larry Fink states in his annual letter to CEOs:
“We focus on sustainability not because we’re environmentalists, but because we are capitalists and fiduciaries to our clients.”
He further says that firms that do not plan for a carbon-free futrure risk being left behind and already two years ago BlackRock identified climate risk as an investment risk.
